Eventguide Newspaper Magazine will  unveil New year's edition of the Magazine. The event which will take place at Sai, Vida Caffe, Labone on Friday 15th January  exactly 6pm, on would  seek to unveil Dorothy Amuah Ceo of Crown Acquisitions for excellence and hard work over the years.

Eventguide will also use the occasion to present a citation in honor of Dorothy Amuah's  hardwork, dedication and impact to the society over the years. Also maiden editon of Ghana Event Awards will be announce

Educational background - B.A BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MARKETING 

                                            - Professional optician for 12years

Dorothy grew up and studied in England, then relocated to the U.S.A where she continued her studies and became an optician where she established a couple of high end optical boutiques. She also modeled for some years in the fashion industry. She has been established in business for over 20 years and currently resides in Accra where she runs her optical practices and events management company.          

She is the last of 5 children, daughter to Col. George E. Amuah and Dorothy H. Amuah. She has been blessed with two beautiful children namely Natalie and Sophia Opong who currently resides with her in Accra. Her hobbies are travelling, reading interior decorating, sports and spending time with the family.

Dorothy has spent the past ten years in event management designing and delivering large and small, corporate and private events. Highly regarded for the simple sophistication and elegance that she brings to each event, Dorothy’s commitment to excellence and professionalism are obvious to anyone who works with her.

Dorothy teamed up with Desmond Tutu Munaf C.E.O of Hipstarr Entertainment a dynamic multimedia company motivated to deliver innovative and creative solution in the entertainment industry creating indelible experiences and memories. Hipstarr is a multimedia company that offers services such as Branding private and corporate events, Stage events, Music production, Television production, Artist/ Celebrity management. Additionally offering Audio-visual production. The company’s mission is dedicated to creating the most epic event and entertainment experience. Hipstarr sets a stage for the future in Africa at large

Dorothy has survived breast cancer and is active in various organizations such as The American Cancer Society and The Susan G. Gorman Foundation. She is also the founder of Dorothy‘s Hope, a recently established Breast Cancer Foundation with the mission to empower, educate and encourage women affected with the disease. She is keen on using this platform to provide a help center for breast cancer patients and survivors with units such as Prosthetics, Nutrition, and also Counseling where they will be encouraged and educated on the right foods to support their compromised immune system and ways to take care of their appearance to help boost their self-esteem.
